Flip Potential Score
The flip potential score (1-10) is calculated based on: demand-to-supply ratio (30%), premium over retail (25%), price trend momentum (20%), historical appreciation (15%), and brand/model desirability (10%).
Score Scale
Exceptional
Extremely high demand, significant and consistent premium over retail, rapid appreciation. These watches often have multi-year waitlists at authorized dealers.
Excellent
Strong consistent premium over retail, high demand, good liquidity on the secondary market.
Good
Moderate premium or near-retail pricing, steady demand, reasonable resale timeline.
Fair
Trades near or slightly below retail. Available at authorized dealers with moderate demand.
Below Average
Significant discount from retail on secondary market. Low secondary market demand relative to supply.
